About our Diapers
Cloth diapers are beautifully versatile, designed to adapt to your baby’s unique needs. Our one-size pocket diapers are intentionally designed to grow with your baby. Officially, they adjust from 5-15kg, but many families find they can begin as early as 3kg using the lowest rise setting and crossover snaps. This means one thoughtfully designed diaper can take you from those first tender weeks all the way through to potty learning with no need to size up.
Most pocket diapers have a soft fleece or suedecloth lining. This inner lining is designed to wick moisture through to the insert beneath, leaving the surface against your baby’s skin feeling drier for longer. Many parents deeply value this “stay-dry” effect because it helps reduce discomfort, limits rash-causing dampness, and makes cloth feel gentle and practical in daily life. Other parents prefer only natural fibres like cotton, hemp, or bamboo directly against their baby’s skin. Here is the quiet brilliance of pockets: you are not limited to one way of using them. Inserts can be placed inside the pocket, beneath the stay-dry lining, or simply laid on top of the lining so your baby feels only the natural fibres directly. Both options are safe and widely used, the choice depends on what works best for your family.
On top of the pocket
• Natural fibres (cotton, hemp, bamboo) sit directly against baby’s skin
• Breathable, allowing more airflow
• Encourages awareness of wetness - supportive for potty readiness
Inside the pocket
• Stay-dry feel thanks to the fleece or suedecloth lining
• Inserts stay neatly in place
• Favoured for naps and overnight stretches when comfort is key
Neither method is “right” or “wrong.” They simply offer different benefits, and many parents alternate between the two depending on the time of day. Cloth does not ask you to fit into a rigid system; it adapts to your rhythms, your child’s body, and your lifestyle. Similarly, every insert fabric carries its own strengths. No single insert is perfect for all situations. The art of cloth is learning how each fabric works and combining them to suit your child’s needs.
Cotton Bamboo (70% bamboo | 30% cotton)
Breathable and gentle, chosen often for sensitive skin
Consistently absorbent, performing well both day and night
Retains its form and softness through many washes, making it a trusted staple
Adaptable and steady, suited to the natural ebb and flow of most babies’ routines
Hemp Cotton (55% hemp | 45% cotton)
Celebrated for its unparalleled liquid-holding capacity
Slim in profile yet unmatched in endurance
Performs best layered beneath a faster-absorbing insert, protecting against flooding
The long-distance performer, offering overnight peace of mind for parents seeking rest
For longer stretches, such as nighttime or nap times, remember to add an extra insert for additional absorbency. Hemp works beautifully for this because it holds a large amount of liquid, but it’s slower to absorb on its own. For best results, layer a faster-absorbing insert like cotton or bamboo on top, with the hemp underneath to catch and hold everything through the night.
Bamboo Charcoal Fleece
Crafted from an OEKO-TEX® certified polyester performance fabric infused with bamboo charcoal granule, it balances absorbency with quicker drying - a steady everyday choice.
The soft, stay-dry layer that draws moisture away from delicate skin
The rich charcoal hue masks stains and minimises lingering odour
Valued for its simple, reliable beauty - the insert many families reach for first
Cloth diapers should be changed every 2-3 hours during the day to keep your baby’s skin healthy and comfortable.
Cloth is not about strict rules. It’s about finding what feels right for your baby and your family’s rhythm.
